About the Owner
Michele Gust Martinez, RPT, CSCS, CES

Michele Gust Martinez was born and raised in Miami and graduated from Florida International University’s Physical Therapy Program in1996.  After working in a very large and busy rehab center seeing 4 to 5 patients at the same time, she made it her mission to open her own PT clinic where she could treat patients one-to-one, focusing her full attention on each patient individually so they can recover from their injuries as quckly as possible. 

So in 2001 she founded Healing Touch Rehabilitation and for the first seven years solely provided Physical Therapy in patients’ homes.

In 2007 she opened her office in South Miami to combine her advanced manual skills with Pilates-based rehab principles. She uses these techniques to most effectively treat orthopedic dysfunctions, which has proven to get patients back to work, to play, to living as fast as possible!

Over the years, she has worked with a number of professional athletes, including Miami Heat basketball players, professional tennis stars on the ATP Tour, cyclists, runners, triathletes, golfers, and dancers.  She works closely with doctors to provide pre-op conditioning as well as post-surgical rehab.

Being a working mom, Michele’s office exudes a warm, friendly, family environment that makes them feel right at home.  Michele’s caring and compassion for people brings warmth and cheer to her rehab center, and people are guaranteed to walk out every time with a smile!
